2 Months and Growing

Last week Baby Asher went in for his two month checkup and shots. 5 SHOTS and 1 ORAL!! Yikes! What's happening in our world that we have to give so many shots to such a small little guy? He cried. I cried. The doctor told me Asher's head is getting a little lopsided so we have to turn him on his side to sleep for a while. I'd rather do that than the helmet.
Asher weighed in at 13lbs 8.5oz (88%) and is 25 1/2 inches long (99%). Growing just right.
That night he got a pretty sad fever. It was such an awesome experience to have Kurt give him a blessing. Then I sang him to sleep. Ever since I was a young woman and babysat so many kids I always dreamed of the day I would get to sing my baby to sleep. Bittersweet moment.

Sick baby. He whimpered with each breath and broke my heart.
Propped to one side to save his cute head.

Bath Time

I LOVE HIM!! Kurt too.

Happy Baby! I LOVE this face

This has been such a joy for me. I can't believe how happy and wonderful I feel to hold him close and accept all his handsome smiles. I just want to squeeze him so hard. What a perfect, perfect little boy.

Such a cutie! All three of my girls have had the roughest time after the 2 month appointment. It is so sad!
