A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
-John 13:34
A few weeks ago in RS the teacher talked about how fun Valentine's Day was for her even as a single adult. She said her family celebrated it like Christmas. She stressed the importance of remembering the Savior's command to Love On Another not just as couples but as family, friends and neighbors. This really struck me. What a great day to recommit ourselves to show our love to one another.
For Valentine's Day this year Kurt and I were invited to sign up for the Thanksgiving Point Valentine's All-Inclusive Dinner and a Movie with my brothers since they would be going. It was pricey but we really enjoyed being at a table with my brothers and their wives.

After dinner we headed over to the concessions to pick up our super big popcorn and drinks. They have these cool machines that must be hooked up to a million different kinds of soft drinks cause it's like a vending machine of choices. I got Raspberry Lemonade. We made it to our seats in time to watch The Vow. Pretty good chick flick. Not my favorite but enjoyable. After such big drinks we all had to rush to the bathroom after.

I've never seen you wear glasses before Desiree. You look great!
I'm so happy you had a fun Valentine's Day. Bret bought me daisies too and I love them.
Thanks Shannon!
