Since the winter has been so mild here (Kurt hasn't shoveled our driveway once this winter) Kurt and I hadn't gone snow shoeing. Finally the Sunday before President's Day we got snow in the valley and since it stuck around longer then a day we decided to take our antsy dog up the canyon and go for a little hike to celebrate not having to work. I wish I could capture the beauty of the afternoon and the fresh smell that filled my lungs.

On the way back to the car we saw a couple snow shoe foot prints heading up a large hill. We stopped for a second debating if we had the strength to follow not knowing what we would find at the top. Finally we decided to live a little and started up. At the top it was windy and chilly but well worth the effort for the view and the adventure and made the trip that much better.

I loved your wedding day. It was the first time we'd been to the Manti Temple. What a beautiful temple it is. You have been having adventures ever since that day. We love you both and think you are the perfect couple.
