Garage Safety

After failing our In Home Inspection because of a teeny tiny chemical problem in the garage, we got looking for some kind of cabinet to safely store it all in. I searched Home Depot, Lowes and the KSL classifieds until  we finally settled on a $60 cabinet on KSL. Nice and big and never been used. We spent a Monday evening assembling the heavy thing:

And then Kurt got all the garage shelves cleared off and put all the "chemicals" in:

He even added the must have Tot Loks so we can lock it all up:

See? No more chemicals here!

I sent these pictures in to Serena, the licensing lady, and now we play the waiting game once again. Really all we do is wait. Serena will be typing up our file which will take two weeks about, then we'll receive a license in the mail. By that time we wait for DCFS to need us to provide a home for children that fall under our "criteria."
I have to admit the closer we get to this the more nervous I begin to feel. I'm still trying to decide if I'm really ready for such a dramatic change about to take place. God please bless us!
